Adjustable-Radius Chucks

With these chucks, it is possible to hold round objects such as lenses, mirrors, or laser tubes in place quickly and safely. All thumbscrews are tipped with V-grooved non-rotating tips that are threaded coarsely to provide a rapid object secure procedure.

Dual-purpose mounting screws are provided to secure lenses and to fine-tune the position of lenses. These holders are suitable for applications where precise lens alignment is demanded for a fast lens placement. A sliding shaft can be lock in place to secure a lens in a repeatable position. After securely mount a lens in place, it is possible to tune the adjustment with fine threaded on the same screws.

The cylindrical lens holder is easy to use with both ¼-20 (M6) and 8-32 (M4) threaded post systems. The holder has an adjustable top clamp with a spring-loaded V-grooved thumbscrew that securely holds cylindrical lens up to 3 inch (76.2mm) length.

This variable lens holder is easy to use with both ¼-20 (M6) and 8-32 (M4) threaded post systems. The holder has an adjustable top clamp with a spring-loaded V-grooved thumbscrew that securely holds optics with diameters from 0.5 inch (13mm) to 3 inch (76.2mm). Model 04VLH-3 is provided with a V-grooved base for quick centering of optics.
