The mirror mount is precision machined at all points to ensure stability while high-resolution position adjustment. Precision design with special materials are selected to surpass criteria for repeatability and durability. Sapphire seats are used to resist any abrasion from the ball tipped adjustment screws

The ball bearing at the tip of the adjustment screw sits on a flat sapphire seat to ensure high precision, high stability and ultra durability for the adjustment mechanism and the extremely low weariness of the flat sapphire seat ensures lasting quality in linearity and reproducibility.

High-precision designed polarizer mounts provide continuous 360° rotation in 2” increments for easy alignment. The polarizer can be locked in place while aligned through a thumbscrew to ensure precise repeatable positioning. Threaded adjustment screws are provided to motion smoothly. Two models are offered to meet specific requirements.

Standard sized polarizer are held perpendicular to its optical axis. The inner mounting cylinder is free to rotate to an arbitrary angle. Accuracy is measurable down to 0.5 degree.

• Models accommodate either 1 inch (25.4mm) or 2 inch (50.8mm) polarizer.

• Arm provides smooth manual control through 360°.

• Outer ring calibrated in 5° increments.

These mounts have a straight-forward design and provide an economical solution for holding mirrors or beamsplitters. Two delrin cushions are provided to secure optics in place. The threaded mounting bores on these mounts can provide convenient mounting to multifarious structures. Model 04PMS-1 can be mounted on ¼ -20 (M6) threaded post.

• Kinematics mount provides angular adjustment of ±2.5° about each of two orthogonal axes.

Ring Mirror Mount

The 04MTC series fitted are with a threaded ring for holding the optics firmly in place and can be mounted on either an 8-32 (M4) or ¼-20 (M6) threaded post.
