Magnetic Base

Being an indispensable tool for quick positioning at an arbitrary location of optical table, this magnetic base has a center hole tapped into the top face. Any steel surface will suffice for attachment regardless of its mounting angle that is such base can even be secured in an upside down position. The permanent magnet is turned on and off at will by a large level at the front face.

• Switch turns strong permanent magnet “on” or “off”.

• Useful for quickly repositioning components during setup.

• Magnet strength,175 lbs (80kgs).

• ¼-20 (M6) tapped hole in center of top surface.

Heavy-Duty Magnetic Base

This model is similar to the standard magnetic base but fitted with a plate secured on the top surface. This plate has an array of threaded holes for flexible mounting. This plate also decouples attached components from the base’s magnetic field.

• Similar to above but with a top plate fitted with, ¼-20 (M6) and 8-32 (M4) tapped holes.
