Beam Steering Instrument

This unit can be used for adjusting light beams to a desired direction. Two kinematic mounts are provided to accept quick finger placement of mirrors secured by Delrin dowel pads- or a fixed angle mount can be selected. The mounts are attached to the post with thumbscrews (post included). Coarse and fine adjustment are both available.

• The angle and separation of mirrors as well as beam height are fully adjustable.

• Coarse /fine adjustment of output beam.

• 1-inch (25.4mm) diameter mirrors are included.

Precision Beam Steering Device

Mirror mounts are kept in collinear travel by the steering device’s rack gear backbon. The precision positioning of fitted elliptical mirrors is taken through an extensive travel distance. The mode of travel adjustment, namely coarse or fine adjustment mode, can be independently specified as determined by customer’s requirements. The output mirror is fitted with two micrometers to provide precise, independent control of height and azimuth adjustments.

• Spacious 1.97-inch (50mm) to 8.56 inch (217.5mm) beam separation.
