Modular Confocal Microscope System - CONFOCAL C1Plus |
|
|
|
"The personal confocal microscope system not
only offers excellent resolution and contrast, it now also performs
ROI scans." |
|
|
|
- Optical
performance in a class of its own
- FRAP capabilities
- Interchangeable filters
- 3-channel simultaneous detection
- Modular design saves space and facilitates
upgrading
All main
components are modular including the laser box, scanner head, and
detector module, saving desk space and allowing easy upgrades and
maintenance. The scanner head can be easily mounted on either
upright or inverted microscopes.
- Image sizes of up to 2048 by 2048 at 12 bit image depth
can be easily scanned.
- FRAP capabilities - ROI scan with an optional Acousto
Optical Modulator (AOM)
-
Interchangeable filters
- 3-channel simultaneous detection
The C1 supports almost any imaging technique
currently required, including simultaneous 3-channel fluorescence,
3-channel plus DIC, time-lapse recording, and spatial
analysis.
- Intuitive software allows all the settings and procedures
required to capture live images to be performed in a single
window (Tiff-Converter and Acquire-Setting Reproduction programs
have also been pre-installed.)
- Crosstalk-free- Images can be captured without crosstalk
via sequential scan
- 3D imaging via a simple yet versatile operation menu
1. Decide the upper limit of the specimen. 2. Decide
the lower limit of the specimen. 3. Activate the Z image
mode. 4. Click to capture.
- Time lapse- Most
effective for observing changes of living cells over time.
- Using Plan Apochromat TIRF series
-These objectives have the highest N.A. of all Nikon
objectives. Corrected for spherical aberration resulting from
temperature-induced changes in the refractive index of the immersion
oil from 23°C (room temperature) to 37°C (physiological
temperature).
- Plan Apochromat VC objectives
-Excellent resolution up to the edges of the view
field and an extremely high image flatness level. Shading has been
eliminated by improving the light intensity around the edges of the
view field. Axial chromatic aberration has been corrected up to
405nm (h line)—perfect for confocal applications.

Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope
system with spectral image (C1si) |

" leading edge, Multi-dimensional
digital imaging." |

- Effective for observing live cell dynamics. (Simultaneous 32-channel
spectral-image
acquisition)
- Allows spectral imaging that is
gentle on live cells because a wide wavelength spectrum can be
captured with a single laser excitation. With accurate fluorescence
spectrum and true fluorescence colors can be obtained.
- Wavelength resolution independent of confocal pinhole
diameters,* a leak-free laser beam mechanism, sensitivity
calibration between fluorescence detectors
- Using a NIST-compliant light source, calibration of optical
wavelength transmittance characteristics, and wavelength
calibration combine to achieve true spectral imaging.
- Newly developed
Diffraction Efficiency Enhancement System (DEES) technology* and high efficiency fluorescence transmission technology* are used in
the spectral system.
- Newly developed Dual Integration Signal
Processing (DISP) technology* is used in the
video signal-processing circuitry to achieve brighter spectral
imaging.
- Effective in the observation of
expression-multiplexed specimens stained with CFP, GFP, YFP,
DsRed and similar reagents, as well as observation of localized
protein molecules and FRET observation.
- Separation of autofluorescence is also possible.
