Inverted Biological Microscopes

Optical microscopy are separated into two main geometries i.e. upright and inverted, the geometry is directly dependent on the placement of the microscope objective with respect to the sample. Thus, inverted means observing from beneath the sample while upright means observation from above.

The TE2000-U model is a universal model that comes standard with four output ports.

Multi-port design
The E model has five ports, the U model four ports, both including a right-side port, whereas the S type has two ports as standard. Depending on the research techniques you are using, you can easily integrate various pieces of imaging equipment in your desired combination and placement.

Focus drift is one of the biggest obstacles to acquiring "live cell" time lapse data. Prolonged periods of observation and stage movement as well as a host of other factors can result in focus drift. The new TE2000-PFS (Perfect Focus System) automatically detects the surface of the cover slip optically and continually corrects focus to compensate for even the most infinitesimal changes.
