Within the industrial field, demands of all-in-one system allowing for both Macro observation (Wide field of view / very low magnification observation) and Micro observation (middle magnification observation) have been increased. Also, in the biological field, demands of extensive magnification from wide field of view / very low magnification observation to middle magnification / high NA observation have been increased.
Because in the development biology which highlights ontogenesis as research subject, a wide range of observation from small animal observation under low magnification through cellular observation under high magnification is required.
