Upright Biological Microscopes Optical microscopy are separated into two main geometries i.e. upright and inverted, the geometry is directly dependent on the placement of the microscope objective with respect to the sample. Thus, inverted means observing from beneath the sample while upright means observation from above. The upright microscope looks down on the specimen with its objectives. This is the most used type of microscope.

ECLIPSE FN1 is developed for the purpose of electrophysiological research. Such research entails the higher precision control on patch-clamp experiments. FN1 clearly offers that advantage and more which includes improved electrode placement, long working distance, and greater noise reduction. Furthermore, IR light may be used as well for observations of a deeper depth of the specimen. |
