The technological boom in fiber optics communication paved way to the wide accessible to a variety of fiber optics. By incorporating optical fibers into spectroscopy system reduced coupling difficulties, flexibility for inline analysis and lower production cost.

Avantes Fiber Optic Spectrometer is based on symmetrical Czerny-Turner monochromator designs coupled with different photodetector array and CMOS Detector Array. Compatible with USB(1.1 & 2.0)and RS232 interface and Avantes software (Avasoft)  to allow easy interfacing,

Models: AvaSpec NIR256 1.7 (USB-power), AvaSpec NIR256 2.2 (110-240VAC).
Based on AvaBench-50 symmetrical Czerny-Turner design with fiber optics connector.
256 pixel InGaAs Detector Array.
Single, dual or 8 multiple channels options are available.
14 bit AD converter, USB 2.0 interface.
2 different gratings with different dispersion and blaze angles enable applications within the wavelength of 1000-1700nm & 1000-2200nm.
Available Peltier-cooled INGaAs detector for AvaSpec NIR256 2.2.
Digital I/O ports enable triggering and control of shutter and pulse sources are available.
12V/1.0A Power supply (Alternative USB power is available).
AvaSpec-NIR256 is capable of achieving data sampling of 949 spectra/s and data transfer in 1.56ms, analogue I/P, on board SDRAM and advanced Bluetooth communication technology.
