Inverted Routine Microscope Eclipse Ts2

Nikon’s all-new inverted routine microscope featuring a compact footprint, newly developed contrast observation method and improved operability.

New compact inverted routine microscope that does more than ever before!
Utilizing Nikon’s industry-leading CFI60 optical system and LED illumination for both diascopic and epi-fluorescence imaging, the new Eclipse TS2 microscope offers brilliantly clear images, enabling more efficient cell culture observation and documentation. Furthermore, a newly developed contrast observation method and streamlined operation enhance its use for routine laboratory work.

Compact, Streamlined Body for Efficient Observation

Two models are available to meet your needs; a diascopic illumination model, the Eclipse Ts2, and an epi-fluorescence illumination model, the Eclipse Ts2-FL.

The compact, stable and durable body on both models conserves precious bench space and easily fits next to the incubator or inside a tissue culture hood.

Better Observation with LED Illuminator

The new Eclipse TS2 microscope provides LED-based diascopic and epi-fluorescence illumination. LED illumination eliminates frequent bulb replacement and alignment and requires no warm-up time allowing for quick and efficient cell culture observation.

Streamlined Operation

Buttons for turning light sources on/off and switching between diascopic and epi-fluorescence observation are located within easy reach, at the front of the microscope body, enabling intuitive operation of these functions during sample imaging. The ECLIPSE Ts2-FL model provides separate zones for controlling diascopic and episcopic illumination with diascopic controls located on the left side and epi-fluorescence controls on the right side of the main body.

New Contrasting Technique, “Emboss Contrast” for Economical and Easy Observation

Newly developed Emboss Contrast is cost effective and provides easy observation with simple operation. Emboss contrast provides pseudo-three dimensional, high-contrast images and is suitable even for thick samples such as iPS cells which are normally difficult to observe with conventional phase contrast methods. Additionaly, Emboss Contrast is compatible with both glass and plastic culture chambers.
