Quantum Northwest – Brr 20 Cuvette Holder

Brr 20

User-customizable, Temperature-controlled cuvette holder with extended low temperature response with two optical ports

The Brr 20 is a temperature-controlled cuvette holder for the range of +110 °C down to -55 °C. It is designed for use in absorption spectroscopy or experiments that can be performed using the two ports. This is the least expensive version intended to be mounted and adapted entirely by the user. Use the Brr 20 to set and maintain precise sample temperatures and stir at a steady reproducible rate, while bathing the cuvette in a controlled gaseous environment. This product is provided with a windowed vest to enhance performance at low temperatures and minimize condensation that may form on the windows. Circulating water is used to remove heat from the Peltier heat exchanger. Purchase the extended temperature option to extend operation above 110 °C to 150 °C. Control the Brr 20, using the TC 1B Temperature Controller included in the purchase price. For additional control and temperature monitoring, use Quantum Northwest’s computer control software, T-App, available for purchase.
