2023 Singapore Imaris User Group Meeting

Date: 18th October- 19th October 2023

Venue: NUS Mechanobiology Institute (MBI)

 

Andor Technology, together with the Microscopy Core of Mechanobiology Institute (MBI) National University of Singapore, is pleased to present you the 2023 Imaris UGM. In this UGM, we will lead you through the exciting world of 3D and 4D Image Analysis using Imaris Software. This year, we will focus on several new topics including:

 

  • *New pixel classification segmentation method powered by Labkit

 

  • *The enhanced connection between open-source software packages and Imaris

 

  • *Our latest release of Imaris 10.0 which has the most versatile filament tracer tool packed with machine learning classification and multi-scale seed points for more accurate and repeatable detection for neuroscience, cell biology and vascular research

 

  • *Enabling the study of the dynamics of individual cells by providing an easy mechanism to synchronize measurements from an entire population based on “events” independently defined for each cell

 

  • *Using Vantage to study the interaction between spots and surfaces

 

The UGM will happen on the 18th and 19th October 2023, at Level 5, Seminar Room. Please register early to secure your slot. We regret to inform you that in the event of oversubscription, you may be placed in the waiting list.

Tomocube HT-X1 Holotomography Seminar & Demo workshop @ NUS Medicine

Holotomography (HT) is a unique imaging technique that provides label-free 4D quantitative imaging solutions for imaging and analyzing cells and tissues. Without using any preparation including fixation, transfection, or staining, details of dynamics and mechanisms of live cells, subcellular organelles, and tissue structures can be seen. HT not only enables observation of nanoscale, real-time results based on quantitative phase imaging (QPI) but also provides quantitative information of cells and organelles.
